Keep your surgical site clean and dry for 24-48 hours.
Clean the site daily with soap and water after the initial bandage has been removed.
Apply plain Vaseline daily to the site and cover with a band aid until you return for suture removal.
Sutures will be removed in 7-14 days depending on the site.
It is normal and expected for the area around the wound to look red, swollen, and bruised and be sore and painful in the days following the procedure. These symptoms will improve over the following days.
Oral antibiotics and pain medication may be prescribed following your surgery
