Hair Removal Laser
The Apogee Alex/YAG is a laser treatment used to remove unwanted hair from the face and body of patients of all skin types.
How does it work?
The target for the laser's energy is the pigment in the hair follicle. In particular, it is the "root" of an actively growing follicle that must be destroyed in order to obtain long-lasting results.
When will I see results?
After each treatment, the growth rate and thickness of the treated hair should decrease. A series of laser treatments is required for optimal results.
Is there a recovery period?
Treated hair may appear as small darks bumps under the skin. Treated areas can remain pink for several hours after treatment and may sometimes bruise.
