Kybella is an injectable treatment that can be used to improve the appearance of moderate-to-severe fullness under the chin ("submental fat" or "double chin").

How does it work?
When injected into the skin, the fat cell membrane is disrupted which causes the fat to dissolve. Once destroyed, these cells cannot store or accumulate fat.
When will I see results?
It may take as long as 6 months to attain the full effect from the injections. Most patients experience visible results in 2 to 4 treatments. Once the aesthetic response is achieved, retreatment is not expected.
Is there a recovery period?
The treated skin may appear pink and slightly swollen immediately after treatment and you may experience a tingling or burning sensation. These sensations subside over minutes to hours. Temporary swelling, bruising, pain, numbness, redness, difficulty swallowing, and formation of small areas of firmness in the treatment area can be experienced.
